Kristy Biber, Soprano

Kristy Biber has been singing in choirs in Melbourne for over ten years. Her love of choral singing began in the Trinity College Choir at the University of Melbourne where she had the opportunity to be part of the recording of five albums for ABC Classics as well as tours to Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, USA, Germany and the UK. Since then she has sung with the Consort of Melbourne and Polyphonic Voices which have collaborated with artists such as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Rolling Stones, the Hilltop Hoods and Patti LuPone. She has also had the opportunity to work with conductors such as Eric Whitacre, Stephen Layton and Peter Phillips. She is also a lay clerk and holds the title of Leading Musician at St Paul’s Cathedral Melbourne. When not singing with choirs, Kristy spends her time singing with small children and their families in her day job as a Registered Music Therapist.
